As a managing and supervising producer with a stint as the interim head of production for Insider (formerly Business Insider), I oversaw production and post-production for the company’s global video team of over 100 producers, editors, cinematographers, motion designers, and studio team. I created effective pre-production, production, and post-production workflows, developed protocols for collaboration between freelancers and our in-house team, and established and grew Insider’s first freelancer database.

In 2020, the video team re-strategized to structure our video stories into episodic formats for YouTube, Facebook, Snapchat, and other major social media platforms. During the implementation of this new approach, I directly managed a team of editors, cinematographers, and motion designers, and assigned these in-house creatives, with additional freelance talents later on, to specific series, in which I then continued to supervise their production and post-production work during the development stages of these new formats, which soon found impactful viral success and resonated with our digital audiences.
